You sure to have a lot of haters in the hangout, Lofty :) I hope it doesn't soon spoil your attitude, though! If you're ordering, make sure you support our vendor sharphid.com! Did you get rid of the grill yet?

Don't get me wrong... I think Lofty is cool. However, that headlight 'mod' isn't something to screw around with, IMHO. The last thing I want to see is someone on here dying because they did something stupid like tint their headlights. 1G headlights barely work in the first place, to say nothing of slapping tint on them.

I wire HID's on all of my cars Lofty. If you need assistance to do it right, let me know. There's some incorrect information in the most recent HID install article on the tech forums. I've been meaning to document my HID installs on my car and turn it into a tech article.

Hahah. I might. Or I might steal some from Steve S. Stevenson, because apparently he saves my ass all the time.
<3 Steve

blck, It would NEVER spoil my attitude. Remember the NOS Catch can thing I made? It was like my first forum post. People hated it, and I thought it was hilarious. I might rock the grill. Just because everyone's dsm looks the same. I mean yeah they're different, but it's like.. Oh nice rims. Oh nice lip. Oh nice etc etc. I'll be a loner as long as I like my own car : ) I'm not here for anyone else.
:p

To Lacroix. I only do city driving. Theres always streetlights where I drive. And I see just fine. I replaced ALL my headlight bulbs with High beams (Thanks Again steve). Its just as bright as it was before.
If I thought it would endanger anyone else. I wouldn't do it. I know it's not something to toy with.

Words of Boxx
MrBoxx001 (11:14:11 PM): it just looks like you literally took a piece from another car and stuck it in there

The grill wouldn't look so silly if it didn't put two different hood ornaments on the same car.:hmm:
You have a pretty clean car, don't you think it looked beautiful the way the DSM Gods created it?:dsm:
I could see a laser-talon conversion, or equivilent, or why everyone wants a front-mount, but are you aware you're making your car look like the eclipsebring from the head-shaker thread?:ohdamn:
I appreciate creative re-use of oem material, but I think it ain't rightOMG. Are you eating mushrooms? Can I have some?

It will probably come off. I've stopped caring as much ever since my car got keyed. . .

Wow, quit ragging the man's headlights. They look pimp. On the dark color of his car the blacked out lights really set it off. Makes the car look ten times more aggressive. And about the safety concern....he's the one that drives the car and he is the only one that knows how effective the light output is, and if he is comfortable driving it.

Lofty: You already know unless your car is COMPLETLY stock except for a set of wheels, you will get no respect on this forum...not that it matters of course.

This is the stuff Lofty will look back on when he's older and realize what a douche he was.

The grill doesn't flow with the car at all. It's just not meant to be. The headlights, in a retarded effort to make them look better now can't do their job...and they don't even look good anyway.

Form should follow function. All else is rice.

hey guys i think we should all give him some credit for being creative at least i mean im not a huge fan of it but hey i dont see anyone else trying stuff like this and its his car to each his own right if he wants his headlights like that and the grill there let him everyone making fun of him for it isnt going to change his mind hes the one that has to drive around in the car and im sure he wouldnt do something to make his car look like complete crap he obviously takes care of the car and is just trying something new and with the headlights dont you guys think that if he couldnt see he would change them? LOL im just saying i think they look good and he does to im sure but even if they looked amazing and he couldnt see im sure he would take the tint off

Hahah. I'm used to getting enough shit for being NT.

Since your headlights are "smoked'' I would make the fogs match, thats just me, We did a set of headlights on an S10 and I think they turned out well, certian vehicles I like the headlights like that but I would prefer a black inside housing on a dsm
<img src="http://c1.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/107/l_f18c93f6adacbe0f79e74cca45031674.jpg"> like my old ones ( yes its a 2g and I know you own a 1g but the same can be done)

Well, I definatly dont like this idea. Lofty, your cool an everything, you are a N/A guy like me but....i dont like it. I will give you props for trying it. You never know what it would look like until you try it out. If you like it, then keep it. That's the most important thing. But overall, i give you a :thumb:
And i gotta say this. Yo, Lofty. Im very happy for you, imma let you finish, but Trav83 has one of the best N/A's of all time! Of all time!

:f-u: Lacroix!

: ) Kidding.

By the way. The camera angle I took of it makes it look bad. Stevestevesteve saw it in person today and was like "Oh my opinions have changed now, bad camera angle"

Btw, thanks for the HID's steve. Love you.

Yeah. Some of the wiring was messed up, that's why one wasn't working. My dad had to take apart some shit (electritian). Took a few hours.
