Hey guys,

I have done some research on the G4CS bottom end swap with the 4G63 head. From what I understand, the G4CS is only 6-bolt. I have a built 7-bolt in my car currently and was wondering if the 7-bolt head can be used with this block. And I also read recently that you can stroke the 2.4L bottom end to a 2.6L, and I'd love to learn more about this.

Thanks in advance guys!

Yes you can use a 7-bolt head on the G4CS bottom end. Im not 100% sure if you can stroke the G4CS to a 2.6L, 2.4L is good enough in my opinion but it all depends on your HP goals.

You can stroke it to 2.6L.

Now, whether this is a good combo to use, I have yet to see a review on it. What are your goals for the car, and why are you considering stroking it? I could think of a better way to spend $3500 on an engine build other than the stroker kit, personally.

I wasn't necessarily planning on stroking the 2.4 afterwards, just curious about it. I've only seen one video with a 2.6 in a DSM. Seemed like a cool idea, but I wasn't sure if it would even be worth it.
