Hello everyone, i'm not new but I guess in still on probation so here we go...
I got a 95 talon off of a guy at a small dealership. I know what I was getting myself into because I've never had it easy with any car I owned. I got it before winter hit and it was running cool for like 2 weeks. Then I started to notice that it was spitting water/coolant out of the coolant can after I run it hard on the highway. I've read a lot of the posts and topics. Replaced all my lines having to do with the cooling system and replaced the cap. The car was killing coolant every 3 days. So I sat it down for the winter, made sure I had coolant/water about 80/20 mix. So when it warmed up I turned it on and it started right up thanks to my battery tender. But I noticed a lot of water leaking from the turbo. So I took the cap off and put more water in and it leaks right back out. Now based on all the posts I've read about air getting into the system and turning into steam and making the motor over heat. My question is if there is water leaking from the turbo is that still somehow allowing air to get into the cooling system making it over heat? Water was also spitting out the exhaust header on the side of the motor what the water pump is on. That made me think cracked cylinder head. I was saving up money to buy a new one but has anyone every heard of or had this issue before? The turbo i'm running is a 16g by the way. I work for summit racing equipment and this is my first turbo car so i'm kinda of at a loss... Thanks in advance...
