ok so i have run into a problem i cant even figure out, i have a 91 awd talon and the trans has been completely blown to bits, the VC is broke the diff has exploded and the teeth have been sheared off all drive gears, the diff was welded but somehow it gave out and took the rest of the trans with it, i have a 91 FWD trans sitting in my room and i wanna put it into my awd so i can get it on the road, ive searched for side by side comparisons for awd and fwd starter plates and found nothing, ive seen alot of threads on how to put a awd into a fwd but i need the opposite, the reason i need to do this is there is NO junkyards for miles or even towns that has a awd manual trans, ive tried to sell or trade the fwd trans on local area craigslist but with no luck.

i would put the trans on a bigger site to trade or sell but i dont have the expenses to ship a trans, let alone buy one online.

what needs to be done with little expense as possible.

If they're both from 91+ cars then you only need the fwd flywheel and starter plate. The clutches are interchangeable as are the starters. The AWD flywheel is smaller and the starter plate from the AWD will not work with the FWD trans or vise versa.
