autozone sells some good stuff, and they stand behind their products with a lifetime warrantee on most stuff. I've bought alternators, tie rod ends (which broke when taking them off and they replaced for free), starters, axles, and thermostats that all have lifetime warrantees. those things all need replacing every once in a while but i wont have to pay out of my pocket next time.
 
Solid Motor Mounts, solid subframe bushings, LSD, learn how to drive it. Suspension setup works, but its not as critical as most people think. If you want your FWD to hook, it's gonna ride like a sack of bricks. Solid bushings will make you piss blood once in a while too, but your car will hook.

225-16 Nitto's will go a LONG way on the street.

They make a 275/17 or 265/17 that I will be running on the street. She should hook in 3rd I'm hoping. Those tires will be a good match for an AWD tranny, but will most likely be too big for a FWD transmission.

Laggy Turbo and a high rev limit will help as well.

You will spin, so don't try and stop it, but use it to your advantage.
 
Seriously, the best thing you can do to make your FWD hook up is to learn how to drive better. Learn your car and it's usable power. You can do all the mods you want but if you cannot drive it doesn't matter. Practice, practice, practice! Making the more power isn't always the answer.
