FWD, AWD flywheel, friction disc and pressure plate compatibility?

Ok I did some searching after being unable to bolt my transaxle up to my rebuilt motor, what I found is that the FWD flywheel is larger than the AWD flywheel so all I can assume is that the mechanic I had doing the work on my engine gave me the wrong flywheel. after looking at that link I am wondering if I would still be able to use the friction disc and pressure plate, then all I would need is a new flywheel.

i just did a swap on my awd to a fwd because the awd went out. all i have to change was the plate between the engine and trans, and the flywheel. the clutch and the pressure plate will work as long as both are a turbo.

All clutches will bolt up to any 90-99 turbo DSM, AWD or FWD. The flywheel is the only thing that is different, like you said.
