Alright I have abig problem with my fuel system. On idle I can onyl get about 25 PSI fuel pressure. The guy I bought it from said that there was a leak near the filler. I was going to drop the gas tank but my lines are all rusted to hell and so is the tank. I also found that there was a hoel in the tank that had been sealed very poorly. I want to just buy new everything so I dont have to worry about this crap anymore. I cant find a gas tank for less than a 1K. So I am thinking of just getting a 7 Gallon fuel cell from JM Fabrication for $325.00. Now my problem is that I am still new to working on cars and I dont know what else I will need. This is the link to the fuel cell JM Fabrications.

I am going to get all new SS lines from STM. I already have a walbro 255, Aeromotive AFPR, and a high flow fuel filter. What else will I need to get this all done? The STM kit says it connects to the stock sending unit. The Fuel Cell will have -8 AN feed and -6AN return. I have no idea what conencts to what. Any info on this would be great.

If you decide to get a fuel cell, your going to need to get an external fuel pump.

Basically the fuel cell has a -8an fitting for the fuel feed.
Your going to need a reducer to reduce the -8an to a 6-an and connect an ss line from the fuel cell to the fuel pump.
From the other end of the fuel pump you connect the ss line to the fuel filter then to the fuel rail.
From the other end of the fuel rail goes the AFPR then just use an ss line all the way back to the fuel cell.
Its pretty easy once you think about it

The fuel cell description says that I can use an in tank fuel pump. So that was my plan. Now most of my confusion is with the sending unit. The STM kit says it conencts to the sending unit. What dose the sending unit connect to?

You are absolutely correct!! You can use that with the stock fuel pump assembly. Since you can't get your lines off this is I would do as this guy did. HIGH FLOW FUEL SETUP Except you will be pulling out the assembly and putting it in your new fuel cell.

The sending unit has your pump, fuel level gauge all rolled up into one assembly.

Thanks for the info. All I need to do now is save the money and I will be all set.
