fuel pump relay

the wire from the ecu, does that activate the fuel pump relay?(#74 0n a 98 ecu pinout 2GNT.com - 1998_ECU) Because when i look at the relay it trace to the 12v(86) spot on the relay. im trying to wire in a megasquirt.

Yes. The ECU's "connects" this wire to ground to activate the relay, and "disconnects" it to deactivate the relay.

I'm reading another write up and it say that were I connect my fuel pump wire.
