I have a 95 GSX. The fuel level gauge doesn't work. I know its not the gauge because I had to buy a new cluster and it still doesn't work. I bought the car with a blown engine and rewired for my 255 lph, but don't think it was working before that because it runs and everything is wired according to these threads and vfaq. The connector has two yellow wires, a yellow/blue for the light (which if i ground out the light turns on) and a yellow/black which I assume would be for the level sensor. I can't get any power from it with a test light and grounding it does nothing for the gauge. Is this the correct wire and should it have power to the level sensor? I have orderd a FSM from FP and am waiting for it to ship, but any help in the mean time would be greatly appreciated.

Anybody have the wiring diagram. I've looked in one FSM I have and also in Mitchell and they don't have the wires labeld going into the connector other than the blue and black power wire, ground, and one yellow wire.

Ok, I jumped power from the fuel pump and into the yellow/black wire and still no fuel gauge. I grounded it and still no fuel gauge. So either the sending unit is bad or its a bad wire/ground. Anyone have a diagram, I'm kinda bored of talking to myself.

Dude, you are the best. That's exactly what I need. My CD manual had shipping problems and I didn't want to wait that long to get my car back on the road. Thanks again!!
