thanx for the help guys.. the check engine light was actually due to an o2 sensor.. i got the car scanned.. and i was about to replace the o2 sensor on the downpipe.. so i started unscrewin it then went under the car to unhook it from a pipe n i noticed the dowpipe was disconnected from the exhaust... thus the loud noise.. n no exhaust was gettin to the second 02 sensor... so i got rid of the clamps n got it welded

Edit: 55psi for idle fuel pressure is ok as long as you have stock injectors, but if you have bigger injectors its too high.

ok 55 is good for stock i have 36lb injectors what should i set the idle pressure ?[/QUOTE]

i already told you in your thread you're going to be in the 20-25psi range at idle with injectors that size. Stop looking to be spoonfed, search for others setups and you will see that's what you need to do

Forgive me if I am wrong but I was always told to set the idle AFPR at 43.5psi with vacuum unhooked? Is this wrong? Also with vacuum hooked up my idle pressure is 30psi.

depends on what size injectors you're using. That's way low for stock. Good or a bit high for 30#'ers

Running 1660cc injectors with an aeromotive 1:1

But your situation is different. You are on a standalone ems, so you can control your injectors. This discussion and setting real low idle fuel pressures are pertaining to people using SFMUs, since they can't control the injectors themselves, only the pressure supplied to them.

just givin yall an update.. i went ahead and bought the sfmu.. i set the static pressure.. with the vaccum hooked at 43.5psi. thinking that was enough.. Check engine light came up and read lean.. I went back to this post and ran it at 53psi.. and everything seems straight now..

Are you using stock injectors?

still am right now.. i plan on getting large ones too.. i have my eye on the 330cc anyone have this setup.. i read somewhere that the idle fuel pressure with the 330ccs should be around 20psi
