I have a 97 eclipse gsx with a 6bolt swap, walbro 255 hp, pte 880cc injectors, aeromotive fuel pressure regulator, and dsmlink. I know the base fuel pressure for a 2G is 43 and a 1g is 38, but which do I use because I have a 2g with a 1g engine? Also do you always want to use to stock base fuel pressure regardless of fuel mods?
Thanks,
-Brian

Use ~43.5 psi. No you don't always want to run the same as base fuel pressure depending. Sometimes you may want to decrease or increase your base fuel pressure, depending on your setup/mods. Some examples would be with a piggy back system & running large injectors, reducing the base fp so you don't have to remove as much fuel with the piggyback controller, giving you less timing advance. Another situation is when you have maxed your injectors at the current base pressure, you can increase the base to get more flow from them.

Just for further explanation, the reason you still run 2g pressure is because the 2g ecu maps are set up for that base fuel pressure.
