Front motor mount position??

I put in polyurethane mounts in this weekend and before i knew it i had taken out the front mount and didnt realize there was a certain orientation of the mount. The easiest way to tell is the mounting base has to holes towards one side of the mount. Could someone please tell me if they know or could someone that hasnt touched their mount to tell me are the holes on the mount supposed to be positioned to the front or rear of the car. (This is the very most front mount towards the front of the car in the dead center. Thanks for any help!!

On my 2G the studs in the front roll stop are positioned more toward the front of the car. It should be the same way on your 1G.
