front hubs/knuckle assembly

I just picked up a pair of front abs hubs/knuckle assembly for my non-abs fwd 1g talon because my old hubs were beaten to sh*t rendering them useless.

Would I still be able to use these considering I don't have abs? They came off of a '92 awd tsi. Are there any differences between the fwd and awd?

Is there any way to remove the abs trigger wheel off of them or should I just keep those on and buy abs front axles?

Should I replace the wheel bearings since they'd be much easier to get at now?

They are the same, if you want remove the ring i have on mine. My 93 is running fwd hubs off a 92 and as far as ive been able to tell theres no diff between axles.

Yes replace the wheel bearings you dont know if they are good or bad they are easy to do and around 60 a side.

According to it, all awd's have smaller axle's than than after mid 92 fwd's, so I'm pretty sure these hubs won't work, but I'll check anyways tomorrow.

Can anyone else confirm this?

hmm its possible mine are outta an early 92 fwd

Alright, I'm pretty sure I figured it out.

The splines on the axles are all the same for the side that connects to the hub but are different on the other side(that goes to the tranny).

So with that, any year 1g hub's should work, I just need to make sure I have the right axle's for my '93 tranny.
