well i didn't get to much done today. got a couple of pictures taken some parts i was going to sell cleaned up a little and started working the front and out. i started by trying to straighten what was on the car out but that proved to be a little more difficult then i originally thought. so i have started pulling the front end off the eclipse actually not as difficult as i thought it would be. i started out by drilling a pilot hole in all the spot welds then took a larger drill bit and went in just far enough to pop the weld loose. unfortunately a couple of parts get a little tweaked when doing this but nothing so terribly bad that it cant be straightened. i will get some pictures tomorrow while i am doing the other side, it got a little late so i had to wrap it up for the night.

so i was thinking that what i could do to put this thing back together is cut around the tack weld and then grind the tack weld flat, that way i has a nice thick part to weld to. besides i know that all the welds are done by a robot and all but there still is no grantee that all the welds are going to line up perfectly. the other thing i am going to do is make sure the center beam is in place, that should help keep everything in line also.

well it is late and i am tired. besides i need to get up a little early to take the car to the DMV to get the Vin inspection done. wow yea i am tired.......good night
