I've searched all threads and can't find anything. 98 gst 4g63 egr block off cruise delete fmic installed slim push fan 1g radiator battery was relocated using a 4ga speaker wire and grounded to trunk. Currently stock 450cc injectors and fuel pump until my problem is fixed. I just installed a gt35r and planned to limp the car To a tuning shop. Not even a block down the road the car shut down. Engine including intake manifold entire intercooler and piping filled with gas. I ripped into it finding out all 4 injectors are wide open free flow. I unplug them and the flow stops. I changed the fpr with a brand new one still the same problem. Then noticed no dash lights turned on every time I turned the key to the on position to see if the flow stopped. I removed the black box ecu and looked for burns or blown caps but nothing. The ecu is clean. Any ideas? Any ideas besides a match or lighter would be greatly appreciated

Do the injectors still stay open with the ecu uninstalled. It sounds like either the ecu injector drivers are keeping the circuit grounded, or the injector wires are shorted to ground. The injector has constant 12 volt source, and the ecu grounds the circuit.

It was definitely the ecu. It had a bubbled spot on the board I completely missed :( anyone have an ecu cheap in the Chicago area?

daqaaaaaamn, that sucks. Ive never heard of any dsm doing that. Well, atleast its a simple fix for ~150. Look at it that way.
