FR caster issue. How to identify and fix.

Ill pull the front wheels off here soon and take a pic of the other side of the shock which will explain why i think that is where its supposed to be. It already got knocked out of its current position before when i rolled my other car. That lip is where it stopped.

There is a lil thing that sticks out if the shock where its at right now. I'll show you later and hopefully you will see what im talking about.

Btw thanks for the replies everyone. I think i should be able to fix my rear toe issue. Shoo said its maxed out but i also have .7* posi camber on the same wheel. So changing camber to -.5 should bring my toe in.

I would agree.
I'd also recommend that you avoid that style of rear adjustment that you posted a picture of. The DIY method has hidden advantages. i.e. An alignment tech can't eff it all up and start tweaking toe when that device is only designed to adjust camber. Don't even give them the chance - especially if you don't have a lifetime alignment agreement.

Any updates? If your bushings are indeed in good shape, and the compression arm is from your old car then it's likely it was bent in the old car's crash and now it's been further exacerbated.

Now that I'm back on a PC I can see that balljoint better. It has a large bottom portion that I was confusing with the exploded boot. What parts combination are you using for that? I'm not familiar with that particular balljoint.

Curious to see what the driver's side looks like.

Im actually stuck in FL at the moment. I went to renew it (my license is from FL[long story]) and it was suspended apparently back in july. So till i get that fixed I'm going nowhere.

But i'll get pix of the driver side when im back in sc. I have no issues with that side, in the front anyways.

Thar style adjuster that i posted a pic of wanting to know where i could get one is what i have for adjustment in the rear. Good or bad it works and its all i have so making good use of it.

Reason i asked for one is one on the right rear was bent in the wreck and i had to fix it. Which obviously it worked since that side is good. I just fudged the other side but it can fix that.

My car, or any of my vehicles, are all DIY. Only reason i take it for alignment is because i don't have the equipment to use.

I'll update when i get a chance to do something to it.

Also compression arms are from this car. I only used shocks and springs & upper control arms from the wreck.

Oh and about that lip on the shock that said to be the proper position for the fork. When the wishbone is seated at that lip the shock is really close to the axle.

I know i haven't taken it of yet for pix but I don't think its supposed to sit there. I took these b4 coming down to fl.

Something is bent on the pass side I think. I took it to real alignment place and the old man looked at and just v said 187.65 and two days. If he doesn't have to buy parts. So I don't know what exactly is bent.
