So I took off my cheap AFPR and put the stock back on. So my question is do I need to hook up the fpr solenoid, or just hook the vac line back into the maifold?

You don't need the FPR solenoid, although it may trip a CEL. As long as you have the vacuum line from the FPR to the intake manifold you'll be good to go.
