Ya dude, an HKS is a weld on affair for sure. A type S bov from greddy as well as their type R, can be bolted on using the 1G flange. You just gotta drill and tap.

dammit. Im just going to go with the type s then haha. Or id need to buy the hks kit right? Sh!t this changes my plans. Im going to go with the 1g for a while till i find the right stuff. the 1g can be vented right?
Nvm turbo Dsm. I found someone selling a greddy type s with pipe and flange for 140
Yo, I dont know if your still interested, but I have an adapter for an HKS bov that my friend just gave me. let me know
If you got the Greddy pipes with it, then no. This is an HKS flange with 2.5 inch piping and they extend out 3-4 inches each side to attach a coupler on each side.
Lucky.. I have been looking for Greddy piping but cant find any for the life of me. I saw some dave brode pipes on craigslist but the guy wont answer back to my email :.(
Arite so I tried running my type s bov vented and I drive it around the block. Looked at the boost gauge as I gassed it and it kept going over 10psi I think I'm set at 10 ### it's stock. With a couple air leaks I was going over to about 14. So I looked at the boost gauge at it went to about 20 so I got off the ga fast. It looked like it would of done it continuously. And when I'd come to slowing down the car would stall. I'm going to recirculate it again but I just want to know what to do cause I like the way it sounds vented it's real loud so yeah. Let me know
just like that, you blew the turbo. That was fast.
I would suggest reading up before doing anything else. You can find all the resources you need to fix the turbo, which means removal of parts possibly including the manifold and other components.
Looks like as a DSMer, you will gain some experience very fast, or be like the rest and give up.
