2G Found added wires at power window main switch

If I’m reading this diagram correct, looks like previous owner tapped into the lock switch and ground? Why would this be done?

Under the kick panel I can see the added ground wire (brown) is broken and the added power wire (red) is connected to some blue wire but I can’t see where it goes.

Yeah it’s a hot mess here and there but trying to figure out a reason as to why someone would do this
