Was it too much effort too actually read every post in the thread before making a response?

I personally like the Indy Race Cores 2g kit. It uses the proven Spearco 2-216 core which flows 790cfm @ 1.5 psi pressure drop. There are many DSMs running 10s w/ this core. They also use the largest core & the shortest piping available.. which will help reduce lag. Also the small greddys have overheating problems due to the endtanks blocking the airflow to the radiator.. the larger FMIC cores actually allow better airflow to the radiator... IE less overheating (this has been proven). I also understand that IRC has 2g piping in stock & the only wait right now is only the time that it takes to order the core from spearco & have it welded up. I also noticed that they just updated their website the other day... www.indyracecores.com.

" McGruffAWD: Guys that are running the 2g Indy Racing cores..what UICPing are you using and Lower? I really want to get this core but i am not sure what Upper and Lower pipe to get. I plan on running a Greddy BOV. thanks"

I would like to no the same thing. So that mean since i have rre uicp and licp with a greddy type s bov. I need to get new uicp and licp for the irc or vp fmic but i can keep my rre uicp if i get a greddy or apex fmic?

Our kit comes complete w/ all piping (which goes nowhere near the stock location), throttle body elbow, couplers, Tbolt clamps, gaskets, & overflow bottle. You could sell your existing upper & lower IC piping to recoup some of the cost from buying the FMIC kit.

Ok, thanks for the help. One more thing since it replaces my uicp and licp and i have a greddy type s bov. If i sell my uicp will ur piping fit a greddy type s bov or do i need to get the flange welded to ur piping?

We'll just need to get a Greddy flange welded on.. either you can supply the flange.. or we can get it for you.

Ok thanks this is for a 2g gst with the feature mods of l2r, 660injectors maybe 720's,dsmlink,and all the other supporting mods. And your Fmic looks like one of the best on the market right now. For the 2g you only sell the race core. Would this be considered to big for the set-up I want. Does this fmic let air flow well to the radiator. Any problems with overheating? And is there anybody on this site with this fmic for there 2g. That could give a link to a review for this fmic on a 2g or a link to one they made by them. Like on ease of install. Did you need slim fans. Could u keep your foglights with a 97+ front bumper? And things you ran into that where unexpected or extra things you needed to buy. thanks very much

i think you should go with either greddy or spexi, personnaly i have the apexi, i liek the way it looks better. i have apic on my gallery if you want to take a look......
its working perfect with my mutt turbo, never had any problems with, and you get to keep youre fog lights too.....
