1992 gsx awd radiator install

Hey I just got my radiator in the mail. Could i run my fluidyne for a couple of weeks wihtout fans? Do i need the stock fans? Anything i should know before i do the install. Thanks

unless its like -10 out i wouldnt, why would you wanna run with out them, id just put them back on to be safe

ANd in front of the stock radiator is the a/c? I know i dont need it but can i only take that off and not any pulleys? SOrry for all the newbie questions, is it some kind of cooler? Any pics to help me out, thanks.
O and im going to be driving in traffic and using this as my everyday driver so thats why i asked the question about the fans.

well you could take the a/c fan out with no problem but keep your cooling fan in, you will over heat so quick.

HELPPPPP

I installed everything everything going well. But what the hell is that blue cap for on the bottom left hand sifde of the fluidyne radiator. It is leaking antifreeze and i dont know what its purpose is. Also when i put my fans back on I noticed that one fan has 2 harnesses but when i was done witht he install there was only 1 of the 2 hooked up? Please help. Need to drive tomorrow

You DID hook the lower coolant hose back up right? I know it sounds really stupid but thats the only one I can think of.

yea i have the upper and lower hoses hooked up. THe drain pipe us tight too, its some blue cap i have no idea, never seen one of these before

no ideas, anything...

someone i just talked to said maybe the radiator was made for an auto car? mines 5 speed. Could this be true?

The drivers side one is the ac fan. You can unplug it and take it out with 3 bolts. BUT DONT USE YOUR A/C.

No one knows what im talking about with the radiator? Antifreeze is leaking and wont stay in my car because of it.

The blue cap is where the thermostat controlling the on/off of the fans is.
at the bottom of the passenger side fan there is a plug that screws into the hole.
I just installed my fluidyne like 2 days ago, and i put on the stock fans. At least put on the passenger side fan on.

if it's a radiator for an auto it will have 2 nipples coming off the radiator. I'm pretty sure collant won't leak from those even if you had an auto radiator....auto tranny fluid wouldn't mix well with coolant. I'm not sure what you are talking about..take a pic?

Do the Fluidyne's come in both manual & automatic flavours? I replaced the radiator on my brother's Integra GSX and it was universal for both as it came with plugs if you didn't have an automatic.

OK, still dont know what is wrong. Like i said boht upper and lower coolant hoses are hooked up right. The drain plug is secure, its leaking from the blue cap. I guess im going t have to rip it off again and then i will have pics but i amconfused about m y fans. My passenger fan when i took it off had 2 connections(wiring harness or whatever u wanna call it) But my right driver side fan has one wiring harness. Now that i have the fans back on the passenger one has one extra wiring harness that i have no clue where it goes, can this be related to the radiator?

Im going in the garage now to take it off and see if i can bolt up the passenger side fan to block the hole maybe i missed a screw.

Look on your old radiator on the bottom near where the hose hooks on. There is a small sensor that plugs into the radiator. If you look at the Fluidyne, WOW, the blue cap is at the same spot!!!take the blue cap out, and put the sensor in, it is a 19 mil nut on the sensor. I just did this on my car a few days ago. Believe me, I looked at that plug for a while goin what the f*#^???...

yes, the problem shouldnt have been a problem at all. If i would have had my old radiator there i would have saw that all you have to do is unscrew the bolt with the sensor on it and just put it on the fluidyne. I shoud have known that i needed another harness there because my passenger side fan had one hanging connected to nothing. I bought my radiator on ebay for 370 shipped with insurance. Thanks for the help tsiracer and everyone else. I love itttttttttttttt
