If you were like me and many others, than your headlights looked a lot like this...
Luckily, Turtle Wax has a new, easy to use, cheap solution! Turtle Headlight Lens Restorer. This was the $8 dollar kit, found at Walmart or any autopart store I'd assume. There was also a more expensive version with a drill attachment.
Amazon.com: Turtle Wax T-240KT Headlight Lens Restorer Kit: Automotive
Inside are 4 grades of sanding pad, spray lubricant, clarifying compound, and a sealer to prevent future yellowing.
On the left you can see finished, vs. before on the right
The process is really simple...
-You clean the lens, mask the surrounding area and buff in the clarifying compound and wipe away.
-If you don't get the results you want, you continue by sanding with the spray lubricant in pad numbers 1-4.
-Next, you buff in the clarifying compound again, and finally
-You seal the lenses to prevent any future problems
On this last one, you can clearing see what half I had only just buffed, no sanding yet.
