Hello guys I been using V2 DSMLink on my 92 laser and want to know if any of you guys can critique my first tune. Its in closed loop mode but is the o2 supposed to look that far apart during cycling?

^Correct on ISCPosition value being a little low.

Your AirflowPerRev is really low. Watch the ECMlink videos (in one of the sticky threads you should have read in this forum before posting) for how to get it in check.

I'm unsure as to why you have an adjusted global fuel value with stock injectors (at least according to your profile). If they are not stock, I'm then unsure why your deadtime is 0.

I would lower your knock CEL to 3° in the Dash tab.

I'm guessing Timing isn't the most ideal thing to monitor with the factory boost gauge, but if it works for you, ok.

What are you using the FPS signal for, since you have it activated?

I forgot to put in my bio that I have evo 560cc's in there. I put the dead time as zero because on one of the videos on dsm link had almost the same setup so I left that alone. Should I make any adjustments?

For some reason the car keeps ending up changing the ISC position after I turn the car back on from the ground timing box in dsmlink, it's like the computer forgets right after I set it... I'll mess with it.

As for the timing in my boost gauge I was just messin around with it :p. Cant believe I own DSM LINK!<!>@< LOL . What would be a logical thing to put there? Battery maybe?

I havent even realized the FPS was activated. I dont even have it in the car... Any reason you guys would know why that it is on? Im just going to take a guess it just locked in after I chose to keep my settings. Tell me if im wrong on that..?

Sweet didn't know you could check things like Knock CEL settings and deadtime value from the log but it obviously makes sence :ohdamn:

Even though you watched the videos, watch them again. After I watched them all 3 or 4 times I started to understand things more and it started to sink in. We all learn differently but it wouldn't hurt. And don't just "mess with" the ISC, follow the steps in the link. Post a new log once you get it adjusted.

That makes sense. Just needed verification what was actually in there.

I would make sure the base settings are correct, but then follow the videos from ECMTuning. This may end up in a deadtime adjustment to get CombinedFT in check.

How long do you give it to adjust, relearn, and settle? Anything with the ISC done quickly is not good. It's a sensitive sensor that needs time to adjust.

Makes sense :)

Whatever you feel necessary. Some people do knock, but that seems kind of pointless when the CEL comes on for that. I have mine currently set on battery, but have also used coolant temp in the past when my gauge was shot.

No idea. If it's not in use, feel free to uncheck it.

Thanks for the advice guys but I found a Huge Problem... I rebuilt the whole motor using the same head that got rebuilt with new valves, seals, ect ect but it did not get resurfaced (dam machine shop said it was fine). Welp guess not, for some reason the coolant is building pressure up top in the rad and getting really hot but not transferring it to the bottom of the block. I have a new OEM thermostat so im 100% sure its not that and a new water pump. Hopefully I'll have time to take it apart again and do it the right way. FML for having to do something twice.
