That is a very nice and clean car.

About your car dying, you didn't give too much information, but I'm guessing you possibly may have a boost leak.

Search on this forum for making a boost leak tester (BLT) and on how to do it.

It is good to do anyway as preventative maintenance.

Good luck

super sweet ride :thumb: Def tune it up and do a Boost leak test . Everyone else has said what I would recommend , so def start there and have fun :thumb:

The car looks nice on the outside. But what about under the hood? If you don't know when the last time a timing belt was replaced and a complete tune up (plugs, plug wires, PCV valve, oil change, air filter, etc.), then its time to do it now! As we all know, that timing belt and all timing components are crucial and needs to be changed for cheap insurance if you don't know when it was changed last. Good luck.

a shop recipt came with the car over 2k in new parts all new timing components and a new engine case and alot of other gaskets and other stuff but as for the boot leak i know i hav e one but dont know where it is ### in high rpms the turbo just feels like it doesnt want to continue to pull hard like in the lower rpms but about the dying i took the recirclation hose off and plugged it and it hasnt died yet not even a sputter and my ground was lose on my battery so after doing this like i said it hasnt died yet

The boost leak test will tell you where the leak is, that's the point of it.

Also, are you saying your car had been dying when you came to a stop so to fix it you took off the recirc hose? If I'm understanding correctly and this is what you did, that won't fix your problem, it will only make it worse. You should leave your bov recirculated unless you are running a GM MAFT or speed density, which you aren't since you said your car is stock.

Put it back on!!!! Every DSM I have touched with out the recirc hose on dies when under boost coming to a stop, I'm talking about 10 or so cars. :ohdamn:
