I decided to take my car to the local 1/8 mile today. Best I could do was 9.3 @ 78mph, with a 2.3 60'. This was on a 95 degree day, stock 113k mile slipping badly clutch, stock heat soaking sidemount, and 18" x 8.5" boat anchors! Only two passes though due to clutch. Not real bad I thought.

evo 3 at 18psi
650's
255 fuel pump rewired with afpr
stage 3 chip
evo o2 housing
apexi dp
full 3" exhaust
upper hard pipes
injen intake
ported exhaust mani

Time for a clutch and an anchor needs to be taken out with the other non needed stuff, trash xtra crap that dont need to be in there.

What was the 60 foot time, and list the details on the run

2.3, 60' time
.777 r.t.
6.2, 330'
8.8, 594'

Car pulled great until 3rd, then clutch was slipping bad. Going with act 2600 with street disk soon! And a fmic soon! All in all does the time sound reasonable for my mods and issues?

Sounds like its a little slow, boost leak test and why was there an anchor in there?

LOL, no boat anchor, just refering to the heavy 18" wheels. I did a boost leak test yesterday, just had a small one due to a small hole in the boost gauge hose. Fixed it, it would leak down about 1 psi for every 4 seconds, dont think boost leak is a problem.

MPH isnt too bad for the clutch slipping in 3rd. I had the same problem before i swapped out mine. For reference i ran a 8.77 at 79mph with a 1.94 60ft. 14b , 3"down pipe and exhaust, hahn sidemount and hard pipes. Be sure you go with a front mount, i heat soak this side mount pretty easy with just the 14b.
