finishing up engine transplant, a few final problems

hey so i was just finishing up putting my new engine in and i have just a few things ive found under the hood that i could use some help finding out what plugs into what, and so on.
first off there is this plug that was on the wiring harness that i have not found what plugs into it anywhere around it. It is purple and right behind the air intake on the engine here are a few pictures of what i am talking about.

so if anybody knows what plugs into that it would be a great help to know thank you.
secondly i have this small plug that comes off of the oil pump right around the oil filter. again there seems to be nothing in the immediate vicinity that would suggest where it could go. once again here are some pictures.

so if you know where that goes it would be a great service to me if you could inform me where it goes i would forever be in your debt. these are my final problems that i cant figure out so if you aid me in this i will be driving here pretty soon.
