Ive put my Fidanza flywheel on and it has about an 1/8th of the crank showing from under the seat.. Is this normal, the stock flywheel seat's so that i can't see any crank. Iv'e pulled the fidanza and installed it twice and it end's up in the same spot both time's. Everything seem's to be installed right i just wasnt sure if the seat's were just diffrent size's? When i pullled it you could see an imprint of the crank on the flywheel..

Measure the thickness of the flywheel flange of the new vs. old flywheel. If it is thinner than your previous flywheel, you will require shorter flywheel bolts. Do NOT use washers under the bolts. Either use an automatic flexplate crank spacer OR use the proper length flywheel bolts to get the job done.

The 7-bolt crank spacer flange is: MD760086 , it would be placed between the crank and the flywheel and will space the flywheel closer to the transmission, so clutch pedal adjustment will be required after installation.

If you are looking for bolts cross-reference vs. bolt thread lengths, I have some listed here:

Mitsubishi Parts - http://www.tmzperformance.com/Mitsubishi OEM Parts.html

*Mitsubishi Eclipse 2.4L Flywheel Bolts (15.5mm long)
*90-92 6-Bolt DSM Auto Flexplate Bolts (17.0mm long)
*2006-2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Flywheel Bolts (19.5mm long)
*1992-1999 7-Bolt FWD/AWD Flywheel Bolts (21.2mm long)

I picked up the fp flywheel bolt kit when I ordered the flywheel.. I think I am just over concerned, I pulled a bolt out and looked in the bolt hole and everything was seated flat on with the crank.. I torqued them to 100ft/lbs with red locktite. I also threaded an old shorter bolt in and it had maybe 1/4 inch worth of active thread.. It definatly required a longer bolt kit. In this situation though I was more concerned with the flywheel seat/flange not contacting/sitting on the crank all the way.
Thank's for looking out with the bolt references.
