Looking for a suggestion! I have posted earlier but the thread has recently died and has not help'd me out.

I have a 1g awd in need a of a new clutch... I've decided on a Fidanza, but to which one I'm not sure!

The car will be street driven, as of now it has 14b, 3inch turbo back, evo 3 manifold and my plans are intake an evo3 16g, fuel pump and fmic... but that will be pretty much about it as far as power... So my question is... Lighter Flywheel or not? and also then with the clutch should I go with the 2.1 or the 3.2 fidanza??? I was reading some and they were saying about how street discs can glaze over with AWD's quick and so thats why im questioning getting a 3.2 or not?!

I appreciate the help guys! im loosing sleep over this haha :rocks::hellyeah:

If you plan on launching it a lot, go with the 3.2, but if it's just going to be easily driven on the street, go with the 2.1. And I would get a new flywheel regardless of the clutch choice (personal opinion). You could look into getting your stock one turned, if possible.

Next time, please don't start a new thread for a question you already asked. Just wait more than a day and people will give their opinions.

I use a Fidanza 3.2 clutch with aluminum flywheel and love the setup. I have almost the same setup as you and it holds up well. Just remember to properly break the clutch in or you will find out the hard way like I did the first time. Happy modding!

I also just installed a 3.2 with a new friction plate on the flywheel (also fidanza) and it holds up great.

I had a bit of chatter when I first installed it now I have about 1200 or so miles on it and no chatter on take off but a bit on decel.

I haven't launched the car yet and I haven't really hammered down yet either. But tomarrow is the test its getting its first run down the strip.

My 4.3 self destructed within 2000 miles. Now I got an XTD for under 200 bucks and it's great so far.

Yeah my ACT came apart too.

I think these DSM's are rough on clutches. I didn't beat on the act either.
