I just bought a used vpc on ebay and I have a few questions. It came off of a 3000gt so I will obviously need a new pnp harness for it. The first question is do I need the regular 95-99 dsm pnp harness or the more expensive one that says "550cc injectors"? I have greddy 660's in the car right now so I wasn't sure about the harness.

Also, I have read that the 660 chip is pretty aggressive, so should I go with the 550 chip and try to tune it out or just get the 660 chip right off the bat? Do the options on the chip matter, such as upgraded fuel pump and "sport turbo" or should I get the base 660 chip?

Any other info you want to throw in would be appreciated as well. I plan to purchase the gcc as soon as I get my fmic sold. I'm trying to make this setup as pnp as possible as far as the wiring goes, that's why I prefer the gcc over the safc.

You'll need PnP harness for 2g and VPC chip with 550cc injectors and pump upgrade. On 2g DSM's, there is no 660cc chips for it. It was only made for 1g DSM. I recommend using VPC with another fuel controller like you stated above. VPC works great. I've used it for several years and then switch to AEM now. Good Luck.

Thanks for the info, one more question real quick, I was told that it wasn't worth it to buy the PnP harness for the 2g due to "so few connections", would you suggest hardwiring it also?
