Ive been seaching for two days and cant find anything to help me at all. I bought a set of Baer big brakes with 13 inch rotors i have evo 8 wheels on it now.
My question is can i fit my fd rx7 wheels on with this kit. I have kyb gr2s wth megan racing lowering springs.

No. Ive seen Evo 8 guys use the 16" FD wheels but with stock 12.6" rotors, and they barely even fit.

Actually, I'll re phrase that. That was with Evo 8 calipers also, obviously. The Baer caliper might have different dimensions.

If they dont fit i guess ill have a nice set of fds going up forsale LOL...

Well the car is being tuned this week. Hopefully the weather is nice this weekend so i can get them put on. If the fd wheels fit i will post pics of the install

Very doubtful. I know MachV sells smaller rotors for people that are keen to keep their 16 inch rims, but they said that even then they might run into problems where the calipers needed clearancing.

Well I have seen the baer brakes kit clear 16" wheels as seen on this 2g with Rota's. So its possible that it could fit the fd wheels.

The Evo calipers are a whole lot bigger than 2 piston Baer calipers, so there is a very good chance they will fit. Even though the rotor has a larger diameter.

Thanks for the info guys i cant wait to get these brakes on, i dont care if i can run a 16 inch wheel or not the car does not feel safe when braking at any speeds So im hoping for a huge improvment here.
I will keep you all posted when i install them.

The baer kit showed up today im going to get these install asap. I will continue to update this thread as I have more info about the FD Rx7 wheels fitting.

As soon as I get the car back from tuning im going to install the bbk, I cant wait im like a little kid on xmas.

Well i guess this isnt going down anytime soon, My buddy with the fd rx7 ending up selling the wheels out from under me to my one buddy. I guess thats the reason he wouldnt call me back for like a week and a half. Sorry guys i tryed.

Bumping this because I do not feel the need to create a new thread on the same topic.

I am using the bear brakes up front with the 13" rotors and twin piston calipers. I want to know what 16" wheels will work on a 1g. Rota slips, fd wheels ect... I don't want to swap back to my stock brakes to run some 16's or smaller with qtp's. I need slicks for the track and need to find out what works so I can get to sourcing them. Thanks!!

I know mines a 2g but i had to run 17"s slicks to fit over my 13.1" and twin pistons its a tight fit i had to get 5mm spacers to make it work with 225/45-17 qtp's
