Personally, I still enjoy the first one. The second one was idiotic and I've not seen it since the one time I rented it.

That's because the second one had a retarded plot. The first one is actually decent.

you know how part 2 is about what happened to paul walker after part one? well i heard that part three is going to be about what happened to vin disel after part one.... he goes to the chinese land somewhere dont know exactly where and he gets into gangs and crap like that...

It's true. In the meantime, I hope Paul Walker revisits acting school.

"Naw, the only thing that drawed me in was you. Getting your brother as a friend was just a bonus."

Pff.

1st was the best. (as it could be)
2nd sucked...to fake (even for old ladies)
3rd?...hopefully its not to fake, but...the fact their going to film it in L.A to look like Tokyo..WTF my guess is its going to be similar to the 2nd.

I'm defiantly going to go see it though! ROFL

I realized that if you fast forward to the racing parts, and turn the tv off and the volume up, it becomes 10 times better... :D ....The FAF movies are somewhat entertaining and I'm sure I will somehow make it to the 3rd to see it, although it isn't on the top end of my list of things to do.

it will suck like all the other F&F movies. They need to make movies a bit more realistic. (ex. Transporter 2 when the car flies through the air into the other parking garage)

supposedly there will a fastback mustang with a RBseries motor in it. the 350z most likely be the main car in the movie and none of the past actors will be making appearences.

I guess I'm one of the few that liked the second one. I thought it was a lot funnier then the first and Eva Mendes is a hottie. And on top of all that Mitsubishi was the featured make. I do own both on DVD and have watched the first one more times though.

You'd be suprised how often movie producers have to make one city look like another. It happens practically in every movie. But they will have to do *some* shooting overseas, so it won't be completely just trickery.

Vin and Paul are not going to be in it. I want to say the Asian guy from Harold and Kumar Go to Whitecastle is the star.

If drifitng is the focus that means no FWD or AWD, so count Mitsubishi out of this one. Unless Jackie Chan shows up in a Starion. :) -Kidding. But then since technical fortitiude has never been a storng suit of these movies, I am sure there will be an Evo or FTO somewhere. Maybe they will do highway runs too on the Wangan. Then, anything goes.

Since when can't AWD drift?

All I know is I'm not driving when this movie is still in theaters.

Well yeah, I think Top Secret or somebody has a FWD drift car. I guess I'm giving the movie producers too much credit by saying that it will be mostly RWD cars, but then like Initial D, there will be FWD and AWD cars featured prominently too.

ROFL Word. It will be open season on import drivers and the ricers will be out in force.
Before I got my first DSM I was actually foolish enough to think I could afford a MKIV Supra. Then the first F&F came out and I literally saw prices jump an average of 10 grand on them. 2Gs went up too, marginally.

I don't know but it's about time someone needs to come up with a decent car/racing movie based on whats popular today and doesn't rely on a bunch of unrealistic scenarios that push auto enthusiasts farther away. Ditch the complete F & F concept and head back to the drawing board.

Hmm The F##s and Frutya##ed... series....

I leave it there because I seem to be good at staying on the mods good side..

:thumb: Censored myself...

I dont think I will let it rip about how much I despise that crap.

omfg, if someone sticks a dam pos nissan engine in a stang, i will personally hunt the person who requested the car and kill them.

sadly, it has nothing to do with the previous F&F, therefore it shouldnt share its name. should be called "riced out driftfest" featuring - cars with zero performance, flashy paint, 22" chrome rims and big wings, with the motto "####tard ricers, coming to wrap themselves around a lightpole in a street corner near you"

YES

Now thats close to how I'd put it.

I saw a civic with vtec, fartcan, and the forest gump decklid drill a guard rail at high speed because a simple dip in a new black top road unsettled the suspension... At even 75mph the DSM with the stock suspension barely noticed it.

Combine rice suspended by stock shocks, ebay coilovers, heavy chrome 18's, "boomin" system weight, 4 passengers, with too many video games and crappy movies.... and you get disaster.

The entire cast and crew actually went to Toyko to see what real drifting is like, talk to the pros, learn to drift, blah blah blah. I guess they're trying to make this one as realistic as possible, even though they got "lil" BOW WOW in it

We do have a different director for the new video though, and hes Japanese.

"The Fast and the Furious 3" follows the story of Shaun Boswell, who has always been an outsider. A loner at school, his only connection to the indifferent world around him is through illegal street racing -- which has made him particularly unpopular with the local authorities. To avoid jail time, Shaun is sent out of the country to live with his uncle in the military, in a cramped apartment in a low-rent section of Tokyo.

In the land that gave birth to the majority of modified racers on the road, the simple street race has been replaced by the ultimate pedal-to-the-metal, gravity-defying automotive challenge ... drift racing, a deadly combination of brutal speed on heart stopping courses of hairpin turns and switchbacks.

For his first unsuccessful foray in drift racing, Shaun unknowingly takes on D.K., the "Drift King," with ties to the Yakuza, the Japanese crime machine. The only way he can pay off the debt of his loss is to venture into the deadly realm of the Tokyo underworld, where the stakes are life and death.

^^^sounds shitty. like a episode of Initial D Meets Grand Theft Auto, using the basis for NFSU as a script.

and lil bow wow. i can hear the rapeage jokes coming already, "hey bow wow, that muffler is about the size of your bunghole after the limo driver got to you eh?"

LOL, I actually used that line before. I was like;

"Nah, the only thing that drawed me in was your personality..Your looks are just a bonus."

:coy:

There is no way I'll be watching that movie. First two bastardized the import scene, now they'll rape the image of the drifter enthusiasts.

On a side note, why are they putting at least one rapper in every movie? I think Ludacris was decent but Ja Rule was almost as bad as Paul Walker.

Because Denzel Washington, Samuel Jackson, Morgan Freeman, Sidney Portier, and Delroy Lindo wouldn't do this type of movie/are too expensive/too old? :)

LOL, WHEN DRIFTING GOES BAD... Whey the hell doesn't he just get a normal job instead of "drifting" with the Yakuza.

drifting is now more gangster than ever before. they make it sound so dramatic too. i mean come on...its just drifting for the love of god. it seems like the media has to relate everything to dubs/gangsters/rappers now adays

LOL, because he wouldn't be fast, just furious.

And how do you unknowingly take on DK (also the same initials as Donkey Kong), which is "supposedly" the greatest drifter known? It's kind of like seeing a big 24 on the side of a car and not "knowing" that's Jeff Gordon.

And everything in Hollywood has to be life and death. Sheesh. Maybe they misspelt "steaks".

Too rare, DK-san.
