I have a 6 bolt turbo engine from a 1991 eclipse gsx 1 owner well taken care of. Barely smokes ever. It jumped timing has bent valves. What would be a fair price to sale it at? Minude the injectors, intake, turbo, and exhaust?

What would it be worth if the valves were fine?

And if he wants the turbo setup? (Turbo, exhaust manifold and injectors?)

Imo it really depends on location. here in wa a good shortblock will go for about 400 bucks. youre head being in the condion its in i really wouldnt expect more than 50-100.

Also since it smokes albiet a little i wouldnt expect more than 300

Sounds like you have a core engine, One that needs rebuilt.

Not having a spun bearing is a bonus.

With known bent valves, and dinged pistons. Valve cover to oil pan, all stock, $250-350

The IM, TB, Injectors(depends) Maybe another $60-100

The turbo, and E-mani, depends on what turbo and what shape it is in. $40 up

You could do like talonawd1991 does. Advertise and sell it as a working motor, then play dumb when they find out somethings wrong with it.

Back Story: talonawd1991 sold me a LC-1 with a dinged up sensor. He never mentioned anything about the sensor being as dented as it was. After installing it, the gauge threw a code for not completing the heater circuit SO I tried another o2 and it worked. He refused to make the deal fair even after I told him I'd send all the stuff back for a refund.

"Get what you pay for" - talonawd1991 (yes, the scammer selling broken parts said this)
