F1 clutch for my 1G good?

Hi

I am looking to buy a clutch while my tranny is out for repairs anyway. For my 1g GS.Been looking for a cheap solution so i went to ebay. Keep in mind that my car is mostly stock and doesn't rape the axles like the turbo 1g's do. IHE are my only upgrades.

Now i have been planning to swap a turbo engine into my car in the near future. So i would want to buy a clutch 1 time.
There is a clutch F1 racing Stage 2 clutch that has a Hp rating of 301 max.
The Stage 1 holds max 201 hp.
Can i run these safely? Lets say ill go with the Stage 1.Can i do a street race once in a while without it breaking or shattering.
Which would be the better pick for me.

If your planning on sticking to "stock" engine bay then go with stage one, if not then go to next stage.
For 2g's if i remember correctly theres a difference between the 420a and 4g63T clutches, so if your planning on swaping a n/a 4g63 to a 4g63T you might want to look into that.

BTW, theres been mixed reviews on the F1 clutches, a buddy of mine has one on his Golf GTI 1.8T and beats the crap out of the car and the clutch still holds on fine and when you look online for reviews, a lot of them say they're shit.
But its your money so use it your way.

Go with the stage F1 stage 2 clutch, it handles more power and its a great clutch,I have stage 2 on my fwd and its flawless

Yes. The Stage 2 doesnt sound bad at this point. But the force will put more strain on the gearbox and such with powershifting right?

Can i get some more opinions about this guys?
I really need good advice.I want it to grip when i powershift into second and third gear.
I think ill go with the stage 1 201 hp and 188 torque max.

There is no need to power shift a NA.

So..At the drag strip just take my foot all the way off the gas when i shift? :\
That is the way i drive my car. I don't have power like you turbo guys do.
