So im doing a fuel pump upgrade while following the vfaq, and I found that the top of my fuel pump assembly has this extra connector on it...my search only brought up topics with no answers as to what it actually is. I looked up the numbers on it and its a pressure sensor. As of right now, I don't like that I have another sensor for reasons unknown to me. I dislike unnecessary sensors...they just die and the pressure ones make weird noises that I have to figure out...I think when the car eventually gets rewired I'll have to remember to replace the assembly and trash the sensor. IDK, haven't put much thought towards that and now I'm rambling. Here are the pics:
