Extra holes on UICP 1G bov flange

I received a CXRacing/ETD Motorsports UICP flanged for a 1G bov and extra holes from what appears to be a Greddy mount. Has anyone had experience mounting a 1G bov on this type of setup? The gasket will not cover the Greddy holes. Would a hand made gasket covering the holes hold, or is JB weld the way to go?

i use that uicp in my setup, and use a 1g bov, you just have to use the other holes since the 1g bov is larger...the diameter of the valve is the same so dont worry.

Thanks for the fast reply My concern was a leak at the Greddy holes with everything bolted up - stock gasket won't cover the holes. Seems air from the valve would still escape to atmosphere?

they shouldnt, bc the actual valve is the same diameter of the hole on the flange..the greddy holes will just be covered by the gasket, cmon man its simple just line up the bov and bolt it on..

I had a punishment FMIC with basically the same pipe. It was flanged for 1g/greddy. It did leak, one of the bolt holes is right underneath a hole on the 1g. I just used a bolt and rtv on the hole from underneath. Let it dry for a while though.

your 1g bov must have the dejon tool leak stop mode where u drill a hole,right near the valve itself, because my 1g bov sits perfect.

Thanks for the input everyone. I'm still waiting for the bov to arrive so I can't do much today. The stock gasket does not cover the Greddy holes. Hopefully the pics will help explain better.

I had "dual" flange on a pipe once, the Greddy holes leaked like a screen door on a sub with a 1G BOV on there! Once you get the 1G valve, youll see that you will have a leak unless you plug the Greddy holes. I filled mine with JB weld, if the holes are threaded, perhaps you could use a very short bolt and aluminum crush washer instead of JB weld...

also have you tried an OEM gasket? It might be shaped differently and cover those hose, it also has a sealing ring around it:

Got the bov and put jb weld on the extra holes - gotta wait for it to cure. The bov I got from a forum member already has a better fitting gasket on it. I'll rtv it a bit and let you guys know how it turns out.
