External Wastegate ?

Ok so i just bought the bullseye housing for a mitsu turbo. And i also have a custom o2 housing that blocks off the wastegate passage. Now the question is, also my wastegate is mounted on the manifold. The bulleye housing doesnt have a flapper, and on my current stock mitsu housing i just welded it shut. But do i have to place a flapper and weld it on to the housing or since the o2 housing is blocking off this part already just leave it open. Thanks for any response that is helpful

as long as the divider on the turbine housing for the wastegate and the exhaust outlet isn't cut then you are fine how it is.

the divider isnt cut. So now i just have to wait on sbr for my gaskets.
