External wastegate

I know this is a dumb question but, i am wondering if i can connect my wastegate to something else besides my blowoff valve for a vaccum. Something that will be strong enough and work. Thank you for your info and time.

Sorry I hit enter by accident. I have mine coming off the compressor housing of the turbo and then it is teed, one line goes tho the wastegate, and the other to the boost controller solenoid. Hope this helps.
