Exhaust...

the exhaust thats on mine is basically stock 2.5in awd exhaust with no cat or muffler. just the 2 factory resonators. sounds really good.

I need a 3" tho as a supporting mod for me running much higher boost so I can flow a lot better. I see Mufflers, Cats, Resonators, all things that are potential restrictions for the exhaust, and aren't really nessecary for turbos. I could be wrong tho. not one of those people who will deny the truth even if they get proven wrong. (basically asking for someone to show me I am wrong because I don't enjoy looking like a douche thinking I'm right.

Do a search about back pressure on this site. The Turbo creates Enough back pressure on its own. That means on a TURBO car.....the best exhaust is NO EXHAUST..

Look how long his exhaust is haha. Obviously you have to tune for NO exhaust. Just cutting the muffleroff at the rear end wont help you do much but make NOISE. The Cat is the biggest restriction IMO.

That's what I was saying LOL. Turbo = no exhaust needed, hence why cars like that 700whp S2000 Turbo all it has for a exhaust is a pipe coming out of the side fender.

Like i said in one of my previous post, back pressure is so far pulled from its original context that its practically mythical.

and one thing people (and quite a few of friends with lesser car education and knowledge and common sense) FAIL to understand is turbo = no need for exhaust system (to an extent obviously you have to have some sort of exhaust pipe) you could run a turbo with nothing but a 02 Housing, but that'd be VERY loud I'm sure, and I make your engine bay VERY hot.
