4" downpipe back, for now. The front section will be made after the header is built and the turbo is mounted. Which will happen after the 2.4l is done, it might be a while.
The muffler is a burn's stainless piece, very light about 3lbs. With the dinky downpipe on the car still it's pretty darn quiet, actually a lot of 3" exhausts are louder.
 
WOW Nick!!!! Thats all I can say. THat peice looks GREAT!!!! I love the burns mufflers. I am thinking about getting one and making a 3 and a half exhaust when I get the SCM61 put on. Gotta finish with the supporting first then everything is going on and gonna make an exhaust like yours. Again Lovely looking peice.

dont mean to jack this thread, but what spot should you mount the cut-out...an shouldnt you worry about back pressure?
 
Thanks Mike, I forgot to mention this is for a customers 2G, not my car. I'll get some pics of it mounted on the car after Ray pressure washes it, the car is just flat out nasty right now. To get a 4" under the car, without a lot of bends, and ground clearance took some persuasion with a BFH for anyone thinking about doing this.

My car will have a 3.5" turboback and a burns muffler too, hopefully done by the end of this month. I still have to get Andre to make my header also.
 
If this is for a 2g then I would LOVE to see pics of the burns and that big ass pipe under it. I Hope this 2g is not lowered at all. A BFH? No clue what you are talking about, care to enlighten me. Again if you can I would really like to see this car. Some spcs to if the owner doesn't mind.

Oh, I hadn't taken my pills yet so I was still legally retarted at the time of that post. Excuse me while I go hit myself in the head with a BFH ;

We're getting some on the car shots next week, the current engine in the car leaks oil from just about everywhere so the underside of the car needs to be cleaned first. Right now it's not lowered, but the ground clearance really isn't that bad.

It's a work in progress, final setup will be long rod 2.4L, 94mm GT42R, FP3s or maybe 4s, magnus SMIM, AEM ems, most likely a magnus dogbox, etc.... He's getting the engine parts together right now, we have to get this tired POS jdm engine out of there.

I'm not sure I don't handle billing, but I know the parts where damned expensive. He wanted polished 304 which isn't cheap in itself. That V band clamp up front is like $1xx by itself, the muffler is around $250. I'll tell Ray about this thread, if he wants to let people know he can.
