Ok guys I'm going to be upgrading my exhaust very soon and basically what I'm looking for are smoe general opinions on what is good...what puts out good power...and what LOOKS good...(i HATE coffee can exhausts...HATE THEM!)

Anyways...I've heard the Apexi N1...any others people would recommend...I'd like to stay wtihin 500-700 dollars.

My main thing will not be the exhaust as far as looks...just performance...and the muffler will be the biggest decision as far as looks. I want something that looks good...is thick in the rear, but doesn't have the circle coffee can look to it. I want something that looks good basically.

So if anyones got pictures of their exhaust setup...please show me. I'd like to see what it looks like from the rear the most.

Thanks guys!

I recommend Thermal r and d. I have it on mine and it sounds amazing and looks just as great as it preforms. Check out my gallery for pics.

Buy a muffler and get a shop to make you a turboback, then take that extra money and put it towards the parts in your wishlist i.e. boost gauge, mbc, and intake. Thats what I would do (actually I already have). Good luck.

I've heard lots of good things about the Thermal cat-back. Very deep sound along with good looks (tip is a tad too big imo, but still nice). The N1 sounded pretty high-pitched and buzzy in the sound-clips I've seen though.

here's mine:
It's hella funny when i tell people its 3" with a 3 stage polish all the way to the turbo. Then they have to put their head on the ground to confirm it LOL

anyway 3" SS polished - megan racing downpipe (160(MUCH cheaper now...####ers)) hooked to a 3" bosal cat-back (320 shipped) complete 3" exhaust, sound is a quiet growl not raspy not ricey for ~$450 :)

p.s. this setup caused me HORRIBLE (26+ psi) boost creep w/ evoIII 16g ported with a tubular 2.5" externally dumped o2 housing.
