exhaust question for you guys

hey i just bought a 3'' turbo back Thermal R&D exhaust from this guy on here for $250, and i had a question. the "Axleback" portion looks to be 2 1/2", its not the same as the 3". the straight parts, roughly 12" long, are about 2 1/2" in diameter, and a smidge less in the bends. is this normal or no?

Well chances are a whole turbo back system is going to be 1 diameter of piping through the whole exhaust. Maybee he had a different portion of the exhaust welded on to the axel part. I know my exhaust is 3" all the way back.

Since you have a non turbo your exhaust needs will be different than those with a turbo.
