3 Is there any one on the net that sells complete kits or at least piping half cheap??

Thanks guys!!

If you are that lost.....just buy the piping from the same place you bought the FMIC. :|

I am going to assume that you bought the FMIC from ebay. That said you will have to fabricate your own pipes.

You might be able to get away with just cutting steel pipe (don't bother with SS) and connecting them with couplings. If you plan on going that route you can use aluminum as well, but I think it is harder to find. I would suggest welding as much of the pipe together as possible and just having a few couplings for removal purposes.

I came up with the same problem bought my FMIC and no pipes. Couple routes you can go. Post want add on dsmtrader for IC piping for your FMIC, or ebay.

Second route, go to a local exhaust shop that specializes in mandril bending. Big difference from most exhaust shops(like $15k machine vs $150k machine). If you find a mandril shop they can fab you new piping and it will run you from $350 up.

This route is a little cheaper, find the mandril shop, dig through their scrap bin, and find bends that you think you are going to need. They don't charge much for the scrap exhaust. Then take it to your local weld shop or who ever you want to weld it up. Cut out the bends you need and use 16g straight exhaust tubing for the rest.

What I did. I don't have a mandril shop that is any where even close to where I live. So I took 16g 2 3/4 exhaust pipe, took it over to my work shop and cut "pies" out of the pipe. Little pies, big pies, and some blueberries, and apples...
Anyway I took a metal coat hanger, stretched it out, and laid it in the route that I needed. This weekend I am going to finish up using the pies that I need to make the bends that I need. After that I am going to grind all the welds and take it down to my powder coat guy and have it prettied up. All together I am looking at less than $100, but very very very time consuming. Each pie is only an inch maybe two, so I have to weld all the way around each pie to get 5-8 degrees. So that damn 180 turn that I have to do is going to be a lot of welding. Why I went this way is cuz I saw Billy Lane do it on that biker build off thing, making his own exhaust from scrap exhaust and stuff. Besides I can say I built it, and nobody else has it....
