Ok...we are trying to remove the exhaust/intake manifolds and the head all togather but from the backside it doesnt want to lift up. Do we just need more muscle or is there some tubes under the intake manifold we haven't disconnected yet?

I believe there is a bracket that bolts to the underside of the intake manifold. Did you remove that bracket? I did the same thing once thats the only reason I can quickly recall this, haha.

yea get underneath the car and look up towards the middle of the intake manifold. There are 2 12 or 14 mm bolts there. Take those off and it will come up easily. Don't even bother putting them back on either ... in fact take that whole bracket off. You'll need about 2 feet or more worth of extensions to be able to reach.

Thank you soooo much, dont have time to get to it right now, but after work its comming off!! Thanks for all the help!

That worked, thanks again...now we just need to remove the head from the other talon, quick question, what torque does the head bolts, cams ect need to be at?!

After you get the bolts started and snug. Torque the head bolts to 40 ftlbs then 80 ftlbs.

As for the cam caps. I assume your talking about just make them a little over hand tight like 15ftlbs but dont use a torque wrench for that. hehe.. start from the center out it may take a couple of passes.

good luck.

Thanks, sorry I guess those were in the book my brother says..but thanks for the info! I have to pull out my torque wrench now..
