i may have an exhaust leak. I could smell my exhuast from inside my car while idling. I also drilled through the firewall so my audio system would work. I think it may come from here. I could smell it w/ my windows close but i can smell it more w/ the windows open. Here are my headers that i bought from ebay:

I think it is between the 2 header pieces. Does anyone have any ideas how i can seal this?

A header with a slip fit fitting is bound to leak. Trust me, I had plenty of experience with this while I was still NT. I got sick of it and bought myself a good name brand header that was a two piece bolt togeather. That header looks el cheapo...Get yourelf a Greddy or find a cheaper header on ebay that bolts togeather with a flange. Whoever designed slip fit exhaust was a moron.... You will not be dissapointed trust me

^^^^ He's right. Don't cheap-out on such a essential mod. You want quality for optimum performance, anything less and you're only hurting yourself...

On a side note when I went Turbo I gave my Greddy Header to my little brother and he put it on his RS, He had a ebay header..it was bolt togeather not a slip fit (I think it was a newer OBX the two piece bolt togeather) but he says he still likes the Greddy better. I understand that some people do not have the funds to spend that much money on a header. So if you dont and there is no way to save up. Shop around on ebay, you should be able to find a bolt togeather. The link below is the one my bro had before the greddy and it never gave him any problems...never leaked or anything

well when it comes to headers or intakes, piping is piping. So i bought an ebay header instead of buying a $300+ greddy header. And if there was any advantage over the ebay one it would be very insignificant, probably 1hp more than the ebay one. I really dont think i would spend $200 more dollars for about 1 hp. Also i smell some of the exhaust from my muffler. It smells pretty strong as well. My mom was worried that i would get lung problems in the near future. You guys think this is true?

Basically, get another header, ebay or not if you want, but the essential thing is that it is not a slip fit like your current one. Get one with a flange that you can put a gasket between and seal it up corrctly.

Also out of my curiosity do ebay headers' come with a bung for the 02 sensors? Or have people had to get one done?

^^^^^Rand some come with some dont, Wangboy, I was not talking in terms of HP. I was talking about quality of construction. You payed less for yours, and its leaking. If you want you could go with the OBX or there are some out there on ebay with the 02 bung that are bolt togeather. Trust me when I say that if a slip fit is leaking there is no way to fix it outside welding them togeather
