Okay so I have the 4G64 and the my exhaust gasket has blown 3 times in maybe 2 months. I have no idea of how to find out what causes it. My temp gauge stays mid and there are no signs of over heating. My last engine spun a bearing and overheated like hell. Could that warp the surfaces causing a slight sputter coming from under the headers?

Just want to make sure, you are referring to the exhaust manifold gasket, correct? Not a gasket that's in the exhaust piping itself, right? If so...check your torquing when you put it in - over torquing cause break those I believe. Also, maybe just replace all of the studs with SS ones. Thinking about a headgasket, many tuners will keep the stock gasket when it blows and upgrade the studs. Not sure which kind of gasket you are using, however you can order a VERY NICE three ply gasket froooom uuuum maybe extreme psi or slowboy...can't remember, but that think will not blow easily.

Yes, it's very possible that you warped the manifold when you overheated last time. May have warped the head too, get out a straight edge and go to town.
