Hey guys, i recently noticed that my exhaust fumes smell almost like firecracker smoke smells. However, there is no smoke coming out of the exhaust. Could this be my catalytic converter? In a previous thread, i talked about a rattling sound coming from the undercarriage when i shifted fast or went over a bump...could this all be related?

Thanks in advance

Are you sure nothing is leaking on hot exhaust parts? Does your exhaust just 'stink' like a high flow cat, or does it 'choke/gag' you like hks 272 exhaust cam rich idle with NO cat? :barf:

it was almost an unbearable smell...but then when i drove today, it wasn't there
so im not sure whats up
