evo8 metal radiator hose on 2g ?

looks like it jogs over a bit far for a eclipse. What i get from looking at it for my app (2g with full 6 bolt swap) is cit it inhalf in the middle and then weld the two current ends together to amke that the middle (making it move over less and be longer in general) I do metal fab for a living having taken my hobby to a business legally a few years ago and that's just what pops into my mind from the picture.

I've been wanting to switch to an AL upper water pipe lately because i've been on a parts building spree for my car and catching the polished aluminum addiction again and that's about the best thing i've seen that could at least be used to make a kit for our cars

A friend of mine had one of these on his 2G about two years ago. He said he got it from ebay, but i cant seem to find it now. It looked just like that, but had a polished pipe and was made for a 2G

I have the one off ebay and you can't find them anymore. THe evo one probably won't fit.
Btw I have a custom made one for sale if your interested.

well today i went to advanced auto parts and asked to see the 2g rad hose and the evo 8 rad hose and they are the same only difference is the length of the evo hose is longer so i guess i might try it out... Maybe some one has did this and just hasn't read this thread yet

Interesting, I was questioning myself as to the fact that the pic might have thrown my coneption of the shape and length of the evo hose off to where i could have been mistaken, just gave my initial thoughts

If your going to customize the one in the link, why not just make your own? Or have a shop weld some up for you? Ill bet it could be done for cheaper than $90
