Go it for $30 shipped brand new

My opinion:
It's really an upgrade, with the EVO knob you feel more control of the shift level.
Also it's shorter than the stocker and complete bolt on. For me it looks better and blends with the stock interior.
If you want a cheap, good looking, stock appearance upgrade of your shift knob, this is the way to go.

I personaly got a 2g shift nob and a short shifter simply because i was sick of slamming my hand into the radio LOL

It looks like a black baseball with black stitching. I personally like the look of the stocker but not the cheap feel.

:rocks: im not the only one i know doing this now :rocks:
ive had my evo X shift knob (same as XIII and IX) since june '09. picked it up for $10 new (but used) i guess when the guy bought his X he put his old ARC shift knob on it. lucky me.
anyway there will be a gap from the boot to the knob even running a B&M shifter. to correct the issue i slid a ziptie down tight on the shifter just below the threads then reinstalled the center console. that way it holds the boot up tight against the bottom of the knob and it looks A LOT cleaner then having a gap there.

How big was the gap with your B&M shifter and Evo knob?

it was a half inch atleast... definitely an eye sore seeing the brushed aluminum shifter in between the boot and the knob. :barf:

i used a rubber band instead of a zip tie. but that was on a different car... i have a fidanza short shifter and i took an inch ovv the top and a Momo leather shift knob and i have to push the boot as far down as it will go
