Would and Evo IX intercooler fit on a 95 GST? I know piping would not but hpw about the intercooler itself?

Thanks :dsm:

You could definitely make it fit. You'll have to find a place to mount it, which shouldn't be too hard, and you'll definitely want to upgrade your intercooler piping... you can buy a universal piping kit on ebay for like $75. You might be better off buying an intercooler kit specifically for your car to save the headache of custom work. What are your goals for your car?

Well turbo back exhaust, gauges, manual boost controller, turbo timer. I think that would be a good start

Hp goals? If you turn up the boost you are going to need more fuel to compensate for the increased airflow, so you'll want to upgrade injectors, and your fuel pump - Walbro 190lph or Walbro 255lph, you'll need a Fuel pressure regulator with the 255. It all depends on what you want to do with the car. The Evo intercooler would probably be more expensive than buying a SSAC fmic kit.

If you bought the intercooler for less then $100 and you are good at welding and you are going to make yourself some good piping, then the EVO intercooler could be pretty nice. I just bought a FMIC from punishment-racing.com and its a really nice piece.

Sounds like you have a pretty good list so far, guages are really important thats for sure.

Its a daily driver and i just want some mods on it now and i am think after the summer put a 6 bolt in it. so the goal is somewhere aroun 350 for later and for now, idk. LOL. Whats the SSAC fmc kit?

LOL, thanks mucho

SS autochrome. Its all over EBAY and its cheap. Nice intercooler kit for the money though.

I wouldnt expect nothing too spectacular for #'s on your stock turbo. LOL

Not trying to be the Tuners nag... but this exact topic is brought up about 5 times a week :| Here's a pic of the intercooler installed... but I would suggest searching for your answer first :thumb:
