Wrong. The 34mm flapper is a way to solve boost creep with an internally gated turbo. The larger wastegate door allows more exhaust to bypass the turbine blades therefore limiting boost. It has nothing to do with allowing more air into the motor. Some people such as myself have had great experience with the 34mm gate, rock steady boost and I have been able to hold 24psi to redline with it. Some complain of blowing the door open under high boost, high RPM situations but I believe it may be due a weak wastegate arm or diaphragm. :thumb:
